Make sure you schedule your self-care monthly! This is my most popular service for a reason: it’s an amazing deal. Members get any 90-minute massage once a month (3 month minimum), for which I can incorporate orthopedic techniques for pain relief, hot stones and aromatherapy for relaxation, lymphatic drainage, moving cupping, tuning forks and reiki for energetic support. No auto-debit or advanced payment required, just the commitment that you will maintain your membership for at least three months. Please let me know just prior to your first massage if you are interested in this program. I AM TEMPORARILY UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ANY NEW CLIENTS FOR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS. PLEASE BOOK ONE OF THE OTHER SERVICES, THANK YOU!
90 min Monthly Maintenance $110
A whole body massage characterized by long broad strokes. The pressure can be light, medium or deep, and can vary during the course of the massage depending on the client’s request. Essential oils are incorporated according to the goals of the massage. This massage is popular for relaxation, but is actually very therapeutic, as it calms the nervous system and addresses the body as an integrative system. Systemic relaxation is the first step in healing.

This is a more focused, targeted and often active style of massage. Specific areas of tension or pain are evaluated and addressed through neuromuscular techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, moving cupping and active engagement techniques – often without oil. Depending on the client’s goals, only a few areas of the body may be addressed during the massage.

Prenatal or Postpartum Massage
Let’s get you more comfortable, mama! A customized session geared toward easing the strain of carrying a baby. We will work together to identify structural imbalances, relieve the pain and tension they cause, and find positions of greater comfort for daily life. I safely address low back pain, leg pain, neck strain, headaches, and swelling in the legs and feet. Massage will not only help you feel more like yourself in your body again, but it will decrease the stress often experienced by expectant mothers and add another layer of emotional support. Postpartum massage will address the specific physiological challenges experienced by mothers after the birthing process (and allow mom to take a short break from baby care and receive a little much-needed nurturing herself!)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
THE go-to treatment for post surgical recovery and sports injuries! This treatment involves gentle rhythmic pressure in the direction of lymph flow in order to decrease swelling or simply support the body’s healthy immunological function. Gentle moving cupping is incorporated as necessary to facilitate fluid flow. MLD is excellent as surgery support, normally with one full-body session prior to surgery and at least three targeted sessions during the recovery period. For post cosmetic surgery, more sessions are normally needed – and the techniques will differ depending on exactly which type of surgery you had and how long it has been since the surgery. Post surgical lymphatic drainage is a specialty of mine – NOT EVERYONE WHO DOES LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE UNDERSTANDS POST-SURGICAL MASSAGE. It is different – please text me if you have any questions or want to discuss how I can support you! Swelling due to sports injuries can normally be relieved in one or two sessions. MLD is also a powerful tool to maintain healthy systems at optimum functioning. For more information, read my blog posts on MLD here and here., or check out the Lymphatic Drainage page on this website.
SURGICAL CLIENTS: text me for additional availability if I am fully booked.

Lymphatic Drainage Face, add-on
Depuff your face after it’s been face down in a face cradle! A 15-minute add-on to any massage, this gentle rhythmic technique utilizes very light pressure in the direction of lymph flow in order to aid in the detoxification of the tissues of the head. It relieves puffiness and swelling and decreases congestion. The neck is where the lymphatic system joins the cardiovascular system, so it is crucial to decongest this area so the entire lymphatic pathways can be clear. This is an excellent way to finish any massage.
Face & Neck Add-on $20
Massage & Lymphatic Mix
A combination of therapeutic massage and lymphatic drainage. We custom design the session together. A common sequence would be a massage on shoulders and neck, followed by a full body lymph treatment.

Zero Balancing – https://www.zerobalancing.com/
Reflexology is a natural therapeutic method from studies based on the principle that there are reflexes in the body that map to other systems in the body. Through the application of pressure on these reflexes, reflexology supports the body’s efforts to function optimally, and regulate the nervous system. Primarily focusing on the reflex maps represented in the feet, and hands.

WHAT TO EXPECT OUT OF A SESSION:
A typical orthopedic or relaxation session will last 15-20 minutes longer than the scheduled massage time. First, we will partner together to get a sense of your biomechanical patterns and stressors in daily living. We can then start to better understand your areas of tension and the reasons for them. During the session, you will have an opportunity to connect more deeply with your own inner wisdom, cultivating body awareness as I assist your muscles in letting go of chronic tension. Although you will feel relief after the first session, it often takes a couple of sessions to access the deeper healing – after all, it took a lifetime to get this way!
For prenatal and postpartum sessions, I can offer myself as part of your pregnancy support team (although if you just want a single relaxation session, I can do that too). Throughout the course of your pregnancy, we can work together to identify the structural changes happening in your body and ways we can relieve them. I offer postural education, so you can learn how to carry your body differently to accommodate for the baby weight up front with less strain. During your session, I will position you and baby safely and comfortably so that we can ease all of your new pains. Common areas we can address include low back pain, hip and gluteal tightness, rib discomfort and swollen legs and feet. I use my knowledge as a retired doula to offer releases and stretches for you to do at home to better prepare you for labor (although I will always defer to YOUR doula). Postpartum we can ease “new mother’s neck”, tension in the upper chest muscles due to breastfeeding, hip and pelvic pain, any residual swelling from labor medications, and provide a much-needed few minutes for mom to focus on her own self-care.
For manual lymphatic drainage, the course of treatment will depend on your condition. Acute injuries such as a sprained ankle normally only require one or sometimes two 60-minute sessions to relieve the edema. MLD for surgery-support normally consists of one to two full-body sessions prior to surgery and then one or two targeted sessions per week for a few weeks around the area during the immediate recovery period. More chronic swelling might require a full-body treatment and maintenance sessions. I will clarify how many sessions I think you will need after your first session.
